From textbook:

"Dyna tells Ed that she will pay him $1,000 to set fire to her store so that she can collect under a fire insurance policy. Ed sets fire to the store, but Dyna refuses to pay."

My question:

The general consensus is that an illegal contract cannot be enforced. However, our teacher requires us to come up with an argument for the Plaintiff. So, is there any way that Ed can force Dyna to carry out the contract, even though it is an illegal contract?
