"For my results on the emotional intelligence quiz, I had a score of 150, making me highly empathetic. I am not very surprised with the results, because I make an active effort in my life to consider the emotions of myself and others, and try not to let them rule my actions. I think workplaces are interested in their employees emotional intelligence scores because employees who are more emotionally intelligence can handle group discourse better as well as make smarter decisions on the spot. Especially if the job is a service or retail job, employees who have a higher emotional intelligence score are more likely to handle difficult customers better and not engage in their frustrations."
