This case is a continuation of the project presented in assignment 1. The project that you have present is now approved and running for some weeks/months. However, a few unexpected circumstances have arisen.

First, the contractor doesnt seem to be progressing as quickly as you had planned, and, to make matters worse, a month of heavy rain is forecasted to delay the project further. Second, because of a recent government regulation, the cost of material has jumped by 20% and you have secured enough material to finish only 50% of the house at the old cost. Third, some environmental activists are protesting your plan to cut down some old trees near the beach even though you have violated no laws.

Be creative in approaching this case. You will have to make some assumptions to answer the following questions. Make sure that you describe all key assumptions made.

You are required to prepare a formal report on the changes that you plan to make to secure approval from your friends. The report should include:

i. A revised project cost estimate taking into account the changes you plan to make on the project showing clearly the both the old and new cost estimates.
