FM202 Major Project (15%) An entrepreneur is said to be someone who is INNOVATIVE. Finance gap, a common difficulty that is attached to almost every small enterprise is usually hard to overcome, especially if the gap involves access to finance. In this project, groups are required to do the following: 1. Generate a unique business idea (innovation). 2. Convert the idea into a business plan using the Young Entrepreneurship Scheme (YES) template provided in the Major Project folder. Follow each of the topics very closely and complete each section of the business plan through thorough research, critical thinking and creativity 3. For financials, budget and cash flow forecast, the group might need to (if applicable depending on the proposal) obtain actual quotations from the vendors to feed in real figures in the template. The report should be formatted under the following headings: 1. Just complete the Business Plan template as it is. No need for an Abstract, Introduction, etc. If there will be a need for additional sub-headings, please state them. 2. References 3. Appendix (if any) The project will be marked out 50 as follows: Criteria Description Marks Innovation 30 Is the idea innovative? Originality of the idea.
