Take the product or service you selected in Week 1 and apply the Attribute Dependency Technique. Describe your best invention. Part B Look around your home or at work and find products or services that could have been developed using the Attribute Dependency Technique. Find a photo of the product/service online, post, and describe how it exemplifies the Attribute Dependency technique. For this course, I have selected to innovate the process of grocery shopping. Currently, the process involves physically going to a store, navigating aisles, and standing in line to check out. My goal is to find a way to streamline and simplify this process, potentially through the use of technology. The concept of grocery shopping has likely existed as long as humans have needed to purchase food and other household items. However, the process of grocery shopping has evolved greatly over time. Early grocery stores in the 19 th century were small, family-owned operations that sold basic necessities. With the advent of self-service supermarkets in the 1930 s and 1940 s, customers were able to browse and select their own products, streamlining the shopping experience. In the late 20 th and early 21 st centuries, online grocery shopping and home delivery gained popularity, allowing customers to shop from the comfort of their own homes. More recent innovations include the use of mobile devices for shopping and payment, and the integration of technology such as selfcheckout and inventory management system.
