Din and Peter are bakers and their bakery is an ordinary partnership. Din borrowed RM10000 from his wife to buy a new oven without the knowledge of Peter. A year later Din's wife wanted her RM10000 loan to be repaid. Peter did not want to pay since he did not know about it. Din said he had no money. If you apply the legal rules and decide that Peter cannot use the excuse of no knowledge to avoid repaying the loan of RM10000 to Din's wife, explain the relevant rules which you will be using to support your decision. (5 marks) 2. Doris and Helen run a successful ordinary partnership business delivering cooked food to their clients. Unknown to Helen, Doris has started her own business delivering cooked food to her neighbours, some of whom are the partnership customers. Helen has discovered this when informed by one of the clients. Helen asks Doris for a share of the profits.
