Following are three different camping trip scenarios, with details about who, where, how long, when, and what.make a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for any one of the three scenarios. Each WBS should be accompanied by a simple, static Assumption Log that helps to explain the boundaries that you have assumed in your WBS preparation.

Here are some basic guidelines for your work:

• You may choose any suitable WBS format that you wish to present your results
• The top level of your WBS is "Camping Trip"
• The second level needs to have at least four major deliverables
• Each second level deliverable needs at least one third level deliverable or work package, and some will have more, perhaps many more
• At least one third level deliverable needs to decompose into deeper level work packages
• The associated Assumption Log for the WBS should be organized as simple point form notes (do not use online templates). Remember these things about simple, static assumption logs:
  • Entries should relate directly to the WBS, explaining why some work packages are included or alternatively why some work packages are excluded
  • Entries should not simply be restatements of facts provided in the specification of the assignment, but may in some cases rely on those facts to trigger the inclusion or exclusion of certain work packages
  • Useful assumption log entry formats include "if ..... then .....", or "since ..... then .....", or possibly "it is assumed that ....... therefore .......)

Travelers will camp five nights each week and will spend two nights in hotels. There will be opportunity to buy groceries/supplies along the route on most days. The group is not accompanied by a supply/support vehicle. None of the participants has ever visited New Zealand before.
