For a mark to be registrable it must be a sign which is capable of distinguishing the goods or services of one undertaking from those of another.

Critically discuss BOTH of the following

a. What types of signs are registrable or not registrable in Barbados or/and Jamaica?

b. Discuss how a descriptive mark describes the goods or services in question and so cannot be capable of distinguishing in Barbados or Jamaica using Barbados Trademarks act and relevant caselaw
