For both Scenario A and Scenario B above, discuss whether you would do what is suggested. Keep in mind that there are no other options. In other words, no parachutes stashed away, can't throw off luggage for extra weight, etc. You must discuss why you would or would not do what is suggested and also discuss how you FELT when you were making the decision in each scenario.

You are flying on a plane and an engine goes out. The plane can only hold so much weight or it will crash. It must be one person lighter to save everyone on board.

Scenario A: A person next to you is sitting by the emergency exit door and with a little effort you can sneak up on this person and push him/her out of the plane. This is your only chance to save everyone. Do you do it?

Scenario B: A person sitting next to you by the emergency exit door says that he/she will jump and yells for you to open the door (they can't get it open). This is your only chance to save everyone. Do you do it?
