For instance, you said, "Lower-level managers, like sales and marketing managers, implement strategies and maintain control over procedures, leading their teams, monitoring performance, and making necessary adjustments. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that each department's goals contribute to the overall business objectives." When I considered your response, I thought about my research. For example, according to Jones and George (2020), management entails the following four functions such as a) planning; b) organizing; c) leading; and d) controlling. In addition, through these functions, individuals and resources are used to attain organizational objectives. Furthermore, when I pondered on these four functions, I began reflecting on my career as a former bank manager. Incidentally, I became a bank manager right after 911. As I look back retrospectively, I had to plan my days by incorporating a daily planner with a list of my objectives and a checklist of my duties. In fact, I carried clipboard with my checklist entailing all my duties. Moreover, as I completed each task, I would check off the items. In this way, I knew where I stood with each goal. Similarly, my process of accomplishing personal and professional objectives has not changed.
That said, all participants in this course may answer the following questions. For instance, even if you are not a manager, how do you plan your days in your personal and professional lives? What is your process?
