For our discussion this week, we will take a look at the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), how to get certified, what this certification means, and how to keep this certification. The AAPC was founded back in 1988 and it provides memberships and certifications, among other services. It has over 190,000 members worldwide and offers 28 certifications about the business side of healthcare.
