For Part A: Get an ordinary notebook to use to make your notes and drawings in. Note the GPS co-ordinates (given in week 5) and name of each site as a heading and date of entry. Each site has a range of samples, and explanations. You should consider each and "collect" only those samples that best contribute to telling the story of the four stages. Collection is by taking a screen shot and saving a folder of those screen shots. Be selective. You can return to the VFT as many times as you like, so concentrate on the four-stage story above. A good way to approach the Virtual Field Trip is to visit each site briefly making notes, and then going back to add more notes about each site. Make a drawing of the rockface where you collect samples and indicate on it where you have collected the sample. When complete, take the screenshot of the sample of interest. Open a Word document. In the header, put your name, zID and a title like My VET Field Notebook. This helps Turnitin recognise a document that will be largely images. Feed in your sample screenshots and images of each of your notebook pages (remembering to reduce each file to keep the size down overall). Make a PDF to upload your notebook to PART A in Turnitin after reducing the PDF to no more than 40 MB
