For question 8, all the skills mentioned to be an effective materials manager are great although my only concern is even if all those skills are obtained there may be exterior factors that can interfere. For example, during a time of covid im sure the loss of manufacturing work was lost that made an impact of manufacturing hours, seized work that turned to delayed work and pushing lead time further out, what would you do regarding this matter? you would advise and reach out to vedors about the potential change in lead time and now evertying would be pushed down
