For Reference: 3. Finding breakeven points. Remember breakeven => Profit=0 when TC=TR you need to find quantities that satisfy this condition. Follow below steps.

TC=VC+FC where VC = total variable cost, and FC=total fixed costs , VC=AVC*Q

a. Find FC, FC does not change with the quantity, regardless you produceot produce you pay this costs, think of it as a rental cost, so TC=FC if Q=0, find FC from here

b. TR=Q*P for any quantities sold by pointing your mouse to any point in chart you can find a combination of TR, and Q, can you find P from it? P=TR/Q

c. TC=FC+AVC*Q, once you know your FC, you may point to Total cost chart to find any combination of TC, and quantity, from here find AVC=average variable cost => AVC=(TC-FC)/Q

d. For each scenario, you can find P and AVC by following steps b and c. You can write a breakeven equation as below

TR=TC Q*P=FC+AVC*Q from above calculation you know every values except Q. Find Q

e. Here you will use round up rule. If your answer is 10.2 round it up to 11. The reason being you cannot produce 0.2 quantities of goods.

Tableau Dashboard Activity 3 (Static) [The following information applies to the questions displayed below.] Total Revenue +ableau =k \& ] A company is analyzing the launch of a new product and has estimated the total costs and revenues for the new product under three possible scenarios: base, best, and worst. The following Tableau Dashboard provides information on the scenarios. Required: 1. What is the break-even point in units sold for the worst case? 2. What is the break-even point in units sold for the best case? 3. What is the break-even point in units sold for the base case? (3) Answer is complete but not entirely correct. What is the break-even point in units sold for the worst case? Note: Enter your answer rounded up to the next nearest whole number.
