For several years, Molly and Susan have been riding their horses along Route 100, which is a public road. One day they rode their horses past Avery's home, which faces Route 100. Avery ran toward them, swinging his arms and yelling at them to get off of his land. Avery hit Molly's horse in the jaw. As she regained control of the horse, Avery began throwing rocks at both horses. Both Molly and Susan left the area immediately, were not hit by any rocks, and didn't suffer serious emotional trauma.
