For the construction of a road embankment in the Utter Pradesh, a sandy soil sample of dimension 100 mm diameter, 200 mm high and having a dry soil mass of 2500 g is extracted from a borrow site 1 m below the ground and then constant head permeability test was conducted which yielded permeability value of 5.4 x 10-6 m/s. If dry density of 1.8 g/cc is to be achieved for the compacted soil mass using the vibratory roller, obtain the permeability of the compacted soil mass during the summer and winter season.
