For the reflection this week, I posted a controversial interview with Dr. Jordan Peterson, clinical psychologist and professor. His views on gender have created a bit of a stir. I would like for you to listen and provide a reflection on the concepts that he addresses, including pay equity and campus protests.Please ensure that your reflection meets the requirements that are listed below in the syllabus description.

Every Sunday evening, I will post a video or a mini lecture that you are required to watch and provide a a lot of word reflection for. Your reflections should integrate information from the textbook and readings as well as other sources. Although your own ideas and thoughts are encouraged and required as part of your reflections, these submissions need to be evidence based, thoughtful and discuss specific concepts from the video or lecture. A minimum of two concepts addressed by the lecture or video should be discussed within the context of your reflection.

Your reflections are due on Thursday afternoons by 12:30 p.m. each week. TheseThursdaydeadlines are important so that we can use these reflections as content for our weekly class meetings. Each reflection will be worth 20 points for a total of 200 points. Late submissions will be penalized by 2.5 points each day. You will be assessed on your ability to:

• reflect on a minimum of two concepts from the video or lecture in meaningful and appropriate ways (5 points)
• reflect on your own thoughts and ideas that emerged from watching the video (5 points)
• submit a reflection with minimal grammatical and spelling errors (5 points)
