The managing partners of the firm would like to implement a new practice management system and they have asked you to conduct market research into their options and, after narrowing down the choices, make three (3) recommendations you feel would best fit the firm's needs. The partners indicate that the following preferences and needs are of tantamount concern:

• The software should be designed to fit a firm of its size.
• The software should be cloud-based and, ideally, easy to use "right out of the box."
• The software must include case management, conflict checking, timekeeping functions, cloud storage of documents, trust accounting, and client billing features. The ability to consolidate the firm's business accounting into one program would also be a plus, but is not required.
• The firm would like a free trial first, to make sure the selected software is the best fit for Modern Legal Solutions.
• The more affordable, the better, but the firm does not want to cut corners to save a few bucks either.
