For this assignment, you will be asked to create your research question and then answer some questions

regarding how you will go about developing your study (see Rubric). The research question must be based on psychology. Additionally, it should be study making a causal claim (ex. My independent variable causes my dependent variable to change) For example, your research question can be does hair color cause a change in whether are perceived as a leader or not? It can't be something like what materials make the best spaceship. I am lenient on what I consider a psychology-based research question so odds are | will be ok with your idea, but if you are confused, please email me so I can give feedback. Also try to keep the research question somewhat realistic. I am all for being creative, but I will prefer if you don't base your project around opening living people's brains if that makes sense!

For the writeup, I strongly prefer for it to be done under each question in the rubric as opposed to essay form because it will make it a lot easier for me to grade. I will not take off points for essay form because it will make it a lot easier for me to grade. I will not take off points for essay form, but you increase the odds of me missing your answer and losing points. Regarding answer length, if you can answer the question within a sentence that is fine. I am not expecting paragraph answers, so generally, 1-3 sentences should be enough to get full credit. You are free to write more of course, and I won't take off points for that.
