1. Do you think Mr. Evans is realistic in thinking that by encouraging others to be "global citizens" this can change the world? Do you see current efforts on social media to organize and motivate action as being the same type of encouragement that Mr. Evans is proposing? 2. Mr. Evans mentions "parochialism" in his talk. What is "parochialism"? Name two ways in which many businesses regularly engage in parochialism. Explain how each of your examples of parochialism contributes to a greater global problem (or problems) and be sure to cite your sources.
