For this discussion I would like you to think about the Egan case. I would like you to consider the Court's reasoning in offering the same protections to same-sex couples as other couples and how this has led to the legalization of same-sex marriage in Canada.

Keep in mind I am not looking for personal perspective onthe morality of homosexuality. I am looking for you to demonstrate that you understand the Court's reasoning.
