For this discussion, please watch the documentary film "American Factory" on Netflix and respond to the following questions. The documentary is on the reopening of the former GM SUV factory in Ohio following its purchase by the Chinese car glass manufacturer Fuyao. It shows some of the production related issues that we have learned in this course, such as productivity volume and how it effects profit, and unit cost of the product and overall earnings. Fuyao initially chooses to operate with the American management team, which leads to many cultural differences that effect productivity, employee relations, and company goals.
