For this discussion you will conduct a "mini-experiment". Give several people a variety of scents to smell (5-10) and ask them for specific memories that they had when smelling each. Don't just take "it smells good or bad" for an answer, ask for memories. Use 5-10 different scents from a wide variety of smells like vanilla, cinnamon, something medicinal, grassy or woodsy scents, salty, fishy, etc. Then record each memory they recalled with each scent.

First give a quick overview of the relationship between smell and memory from the information in the textbook and the power points. Then describe the results of this mini-experiment. Name the scents you used and the responses of the people you asked to participate. Be sure and give the specific memories they reported with each scent.

Your post should be a minimum of 250-300 words and you must respond to two other posts with substantial comments of at least 100 words each.
