  • one (1) assumption you have from gang culture,
  • one (1) assumption from prison culture and
  • one assumption (1) from police culture (total of 3 assumptions) and
  • describe how your assumptions can impact your work with others within that culture.
    • For example, if your assumption is that people in gangs are all bad people, how could that impact you working with a gang member?

• In addition, find one good web resource (it can be a website, newspaper article, peer-reviewed article) online about the microculture of gangs, prisons or police and describe how microaggressions affect the microculture identified and the counseling process.
