For this project, students will interview a manager within a business or organization. The project will require submission of a post-interview paper and an online recorded slideshow presentation of your findings. This project will emphasize practical management applications and key performance factors. Note that this is just the instruction page, you will turn in the paper and presentation on different pages. Instructions are listed below:
Write a report based on the interview with the manager.
Minimum of 1,000 words (roughly 4 pages).
Respect any privacy requests by the manager/supervisor during your interview.
Use Times New Roman font, double spaced, 1-inch margins, and 12-point font.
Introduce your interviewee by giving background on the company and the position of the manager.
For this project, please avoid interviewing close family or friends.
If you use any citations, please use APA format, and include a reference list at the end of the paper.
Be sure to use your own words (i.e., don't plagiarize!).
Prepare and record a short slideshow presentation based on the key findings of your interview.
Use PowerPoint, Google Slides, or another presentation software.
Prepare a minimum of 5 slides. These should include:
Title slide
Company and manager overview
Key findings
Insights from interview
Summary of what you took away from this project and interview
