For this project, you will be writing about a team you currently work with, or about a team you have worked with in the past. But first, you will need to create an assessment tool for evaluating that team. This assignment will have four parts; your completed assignment will be 3 - 5 pages in length. Referring back to the Week 2 text readings and PowerPoints, synthesize the material on team dysfunctions, roadblocks and reasons for failure into to develop an assessment evaluation tool that can be used by team leaders, team members or team coaches can use to evaluate a team. The evaluation tool does not needs to include every item mentioned in the class resources. Rather, create an evaluation tool that has at least 10, but no more than 15 checkpoints. Next to each checkpoint, provide some sort of evaluation scale (e.g., rate on a scale of 1 to 10; Always-Sometimes-Rarely-Never; etc.) (1 page). Describe the team. What was its purpose? How many members? How was it led? And by whom? ( - 1 page) Use your tool to evaluate the team. Tell how the team scored and what the greatest areas of hindrance were for that team (1 page). 4. Write out solutions and corresponding action plans for remedying the greatest areas of hindrance. For your recommended solutions, cite solutions derived from class texts or PowerPoint slides (2-3 pages)
