• For this week, we are going to look at how the production of the item each of you chose for through the lens of food security. Choose a healthy food of your choice that answers the questions below. Examples are avocado, coconuts, eggs. WITH SOURCES.
• We can define food security as the availability of and access to nutritional food. How has food policy in the U.S. impacted the production of your food item? What are some specific consequences to various stakeholders, meaning companies, farmers, or anyone with some vested interest in the production and distribution of the product?Has the most recent policy, the 2018 Farm Bill, helped or hindered? Has it had opposing influences on stakeholders?
