For this week's assignment, you'll be watching two videos about different field officer training programs. You'll then answer several questions about those videos. Please submit the responses to your questions below--and keep them numbered. Your answers do not need to be lengthy. Try to write. at least 2-.3. sentences per answer, although you'll find that some answers might require more. Please do not feel that you need to write out entire paragraphs for each answer!

After watching the field training videos, answer the following questions:

1) What is the purpose of a field training program?

2) How does a field training program differ from academy training? What kinds of things do they learn in field training that they may not learn in the academy?

3) What phases to the training do they use in field training? They do not have specific names, but describe the basics of each phase (which may be slightly different for the two departments). Give specific examples from the videos.

4) What are the responsibilities of a field training officer?
