For this writing project, you will write an argument based on the documentary The Social Dilemma (fromNetflix ) with a special emphasis on solutions presented In order to successfully complete this assignment, you will need to use specific elements of the documentary as primary evidence. By elements, | mean scenes, characters, dialogue, images. Use details. In addition, you will use at least two secondary outside sources, as well as your own experience & observations, for further evidence. I will supply a choice list of some sources. You will be asked to use your research skills to find others on your own. Of cqurse, they must be credible. | will want to vet them. There are a number of steps involved in crafting this essay. 1.) Describe the general perspective the documentary offers on the topic. 2.) Identify a problem found in the documentary you wish to focus on (mental meath, disinformation, privacy) and interpret what judgement the film makes on that problem. 3.) Advocate for a solution to a problem that is identified in #2, either in the film or outside research. In other words, you will need to develop a thesis that does not merely agree or disagree with the film.
