For those familiar with iOS and watchOS (swift), is it possible to control Apple Watch apps using motion control. I know the accelerometer and gyroscope is used mainly to monitor activity for health and fitness apps and to wake the Apple watch from sleep. But, is it possible to program the apple watch via wrist movement, in addition to touch, to control apps?

I want to program my watch to accept wrist motion input to quickly start/stop an app without having to wake the watch and doing it manually via touch.
