Of the 4 types of quantitative design (descriptive research, correlational research, causal-comparative/quasi-experimental research, and experimental) which is often called the true experimentation? Explain your answer.
1. An experimental research is considered as one of the most effective and appropriate method for any study in many aspects of science and daily life. Since in this approach the researcher controls the level of some independent variable and then processes the consequence. Experiments are controlling practises for assessing cause-and-effect associations. Numerous researchers cogitate experimentations the "gold standard" compared to all other research designs. Experimentations are performed on both in the workshop and in physical life circumstances also. However, there are two fundamental kinds of research design: True experiments, and Quasi-experiments, The objective of the both methods is to study the source of particular occurrences. In True experiments, all the significant aspects that could affect the phenomena of attention are fully measured, thus are the favourite strategy. Every so often, , it is almost impossible or impractical to govern all the crucial elements, therefore it prompts for necessary alteration by implementing a quasi-experimental research design. The term "quasi" indicates fractional, partial, or quasi. So, the quasi-experimental research behaviour is a similarity to the true experimental research, however not similar. In quasi-experiments, the variables are not allotted arbitrarily, and therefore, they are incorporated in settings where randomization is not possible or problematic.

2. The experimental is true experimentation wherein there is a scope of manipulation and control. Descriptive research tends to be observational and does not have a setting or controlled environment for study which is one of the requirements of true experimentation. Co-relational studies, as the name suggests, studies relation between two variables, generally used in psychological field, which would again lack the possibility of a controlled environment or behavior. In casual or quasi-experiment, one variable can be independent thus it undermines the scope of manipulation and control. Experimental research on the other hand bears a scientific approach, has one or more variables which can be manipulated and or controlled and studies the effect of the independent variable on the dependent which is accurate and relies on statistical analysis for supporting or refuting hypothesis, thus complying with all the requirements of a True experiment.
