For your Capstone course, you will be analyzing your organization (or an organization that you have worked for in the past and are very familiar with) from different aspects of Human Resource Management. Throughout this cohort, you will prepare different sections of this analysis corresponding to each course. For this course, you will analyze your organization from a "contemporary issues" perspective. The specific deliverable will be a paper that identifies how some of the "current issues" in HR has influenced your organization from the following perspectives: Human Resource Information Systems currently in place and how they are utilized (recruitment/selection, workforce planning, compliance, reporting, etc.) Diversity initiatives, which could include formal and information policies, practices, etc. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Social Media Initiatives - what types of policies, programs, and activities does your organization engage in? What expectations are there for social media use? How is CSR exemplified? Policies related to Safety, Health and Well-Being in your workplace.
