1. On Slide 5 you will see Jack Welch's comment about Globalization; how do you interpret his statement in light of companies like FedEx?
2. How has globalization affected FedEx's cost structure? Include items like fuel, trucks, labor. Not looking for exact numbers just the items to include.
3. Choose 1 country from the list shown in the Week 1 PowerPoint deck (slide 11) or another country that you are interested in learning more about.
4. Describe the courier industry (including FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) outlook as it exists in your selected country and/or region. For example, if your chosen country is Oman, describe the firms competing against FedEx in Oman and/or the Middle East region.
