Former High Court Justices Kenneth Hayne (a member of the Constitutional Law Expert panel) and Ian Callinan, and Former High Court Chief Justice Robert French, have recently spoken publicly about the Commonwealth Government's Voice to Parliament referendum proposal. 

 Do you think it would be appropriate for a current sitting High Court Justice to similarly weigh in on the current Voice to Parliament referendum debate, thereby providing what may be interpreted as advice? Why? Why not? In your answer, critically assess whether you think such conduct would constitute a breach of the separation of judicial power and offend the institutional integrity of the Court.
