He works in his office approximately 24 hrs a week. He took 6 weeks annual leave this past year. He also has in his office a Computer, Printer, Scanner and Fax Machine. He says the repairs to the equipment and paper cost $300 for the year. His office is 5% of the total area and he also uses one of the garages downstairs to store posters, banners etc. This area is also 5%. He pays $650 a week rent. Question Can he claim and home office expense and if so why and how much for the year ended 30 June 2020.
