From our review on the U.S Census Data and other sources, what is unique or surprising about the African American (AA) demographics; population size/ percentage, locations, etc.?

In each of the following 4 areas, what is at least one disparity between AAs and whites: A) economics (employment, wealth, education, etc.) B) politics/power (elected officials, voting, incarceration, ... ) C) health (cardio-vascular, HIV/AIDS diseases, food deserts).

Why do we believe these disparities exist/persist today, 60 years after the modern Civil Rights movement's achievements, and in an era where a "Black"/bi-racial person was elected President of the United States?

-In light of #4 of PEW's "5 Facts about Black Americans," why do we believe Blacks and whites statistically hold different views on the existence/prevalent/impact of racism in the U.S.? -

Despite the disparities (as outlined in the resources), what are any 2 specific strengths/resources of AA communities (culturally, politically, educationally, etc.); how so, specifically?-

Concerning our own access to political power and political solutions, what is our United States (U.S.) congressional district number, who represents us in the U.S. Congress from that district and who are 2 U.S. Senators representing the state where we reside; what specific community or national issues (police abuse, food deserts, racism, reparations, etc.) do we believe our Representative and Senators are addressing, and how so?
