From this discussion post, it seems you were more positive about the idea of whistleblowers than I was. I was curious how you feel about retaliation against whistleblowers. While retaliation against them is technically illegal it is still a problem stopping potential reporting of misconduct. (MSN) How do you think retaliation can be prevented further?

For whether you would report misconduct it seems we agree. However, I did forget to mention the fear that it won't help, which is an important thing to consider. I feel that is a very cultural issue as if you were at a company that excuses unethical behavior and isn't likely to change, unethical conduct would continue regardless of if it was reported.
