From time to time, you see new clients who come into the office. On this occasion, you interview a client who has a potential workers' compensation claim. After the client has left, you note that in a month the statute of limitations on the claim will expire. After discussing the case with your supervising attorney, the attorney says that he does not believe that the client has a viable case. The attorney tells you to not waste any more time on the matter and that you should simply call the client and tell her that the office will not be representing her.
