From topic 2:
The VARK Questionnaire helped me determine that I am primarily a "moderate read/write" learner (score of 13), with a secondary "kinesthetic" (score of 8) learning style. I learn best from written word. Leadership is built on a detailed inventory of steps taken and the results they elicit. This is spot on, since when I launch any new project at work, I always consider the best strategies for ensuring that my team will be successful. Every time I lead a new project, I like to sit down and make a list of all the resources my team will need to be successful. The Cultural Competency Self-Assessment scored me mostly "always/very well" in each area. I anticipate cultural debates as soon as I migrated here in the U.S. since I am from the Philippines. To be a successful leader, this tool helps me stay humble, learn, and respect cultural values, attitudes, beliefs, and mores, and assess and react properly to these variations. "A sense of accomplishment" was my top terminal value in the Rokeach Values Survey because I want to inspire and leave a good legacy for others. "Ambitious" was my top instrumental value since I am a hard-working, determined person who constantly wants to improve.

- Expectations of self and others and effective followership.
