FULL-WAVE RECTIFICATION (BRIDGE)
Aim: The aimof this laboratory excercise is to compare and contrast the different between half wave, full wave center tapped and full wave bridge rectification circuit.
Procedure
Construct the circuit as shown.
If the Oscilloscope has dual trace, set it on that function. Separate the two waveforms in the trace. If the oscilloscope does not have that function, place the leads first between points a and b. Draw the waveform then place them at points c and d and draw the other waveform. Label the graphs properly.
Determine from the oscilloscope trace, the frequency and amplitude of the waveform.
Discuss with the aid of theory the reason why the frequency of the output waveform is at the value it is.
