Gambling has been legal and illegal to varying degrees in American history. Modernly, it is recognized that gambling can be a destructive addiction and yet different agencies within the government, state and tribal for instance, are legally allowed to provide gambling to the public. Should legal gambling be expanded? What does the legal gambling or the criminalization of gambling say about different communities within the United States?
