Gamma Company is a regional consultancy firm providing business solutions to corporate clients. The company has six offices in four key offices in Asia, including Hong Kong (headquarter), Singapore, Shanghai, and Taipei. The company is facing keen competition for talents from global competitors, as evidenced by high turnover rate in the last five years. Preliminary findings based on the exit interview data has shown that many resigned because of high level of stress at work. The company top management requested the HR Director to conduct a more thorough investigation on the incumbent employees to find out: (a) what kinds of stressful situations they encounter; and (b) who suffer more seriously under which situations.
