GCU has been really great to me when it comes to my academic progress. I have had the privilege to be here for the past two years and everything I have learned has helped me understand the world of accounting to a different extent. GCU really goes above and beyond to teach one the versitality of the accounting industry by going over various types of accounting as well as expanding with audit work and data analysis that is much needed nowadays in the accounting profession. When it comes to which KPIs I could utilize for overall performance in GCU, I think the main one is the Grade Point Average (GPA). The GPA takes all the grades taken across the process through the program and averages it out in a scale from zero to four, four indicating the perfect score. The attendance rate is another big one. This one kind of ties with course completion rate because one cannot happen without the other. Course completion KPI tracks the percentage of courses completed successfully out of the total courses attempted. It helps measure a student's progress in terms of fulfilling degree requirements. Attendance KPI measures the percentage of classes attended compared to the total number of classes scheduled. It provides insights into a student's engagement and commitment to their studies. If I had to arrange these on a dashboard for maximum impact, the Grade Point Average would be at the very top of the dashboard. This is because it lets companies as well as other universities as an overall, how good one was throughout the whole process of the program. It provides an overall snapshot of one's academic performance. By integrating data from these systems into a centralized dashboard, students, advisors, and instructors can have a comprehensive view of academic progress, enabling them to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.
