Gender identity disorder was renamed Gender dysphoria in the DSM-V because:

		the psychopathology lies in the desire to be a different gender
		the psychopathology lies in the depression/anxiety from not living as the gender one identifies as
		the person must show dysphoria for at least 2 years before diagnosis
		the person must be intersex from birth
