According to this article, delta- 10 is not as strong as delta-9 (the component mainly found in marijuana). The argument is that delta-10 is derived from hemp. Hemp is federally legal in all 50 states. The legality of cannabinoids are being discussed throughout the country. Delta- 10 meets the criteria to be considered a cannabinoid according to the Federal Analogue Act. According to the 1986 Federal Analogue Act, cannabinoids are legal; however, it forbids the sale of psychoactive compounds for any reason, by law. The argument is that delta-10 contains various medicinal properties such as: neuroprotective properties, the stimulation of appetite, as well as anxiety and stress relief. It also is energizing, as opposed to delta-8 which has properties that will make one tired. However, in the end, the article states that delta-10 serves the purpose of getting you high.

The article that I chose talks about how there is a shortage of airline pilots and that many pilots have wanted a better representation in their career/profession and better benefits that they have not received. The union that represents United Airlines pilots rejected a tentative contract claiming that management had many delays and that since the airline is becoming more profitable they should be experiencing better treatment. With 94% of the members voting against the contract, the company must find a new way of negotiating to fit everyone's needs according to the article. This article is similar to Chapter 6 because it entails an offer listed and then the other party which is called the offeree rejecting the offer. It was a clear distinction as to how both the news article and the chapter were related to each other.
