Give a scenario of something you might want to test (e.g are there really 12ounces of water in my bottle,does one light bulb really work longer than others, etc.).

Explain to someone that have never taken a statistics course, what hypothesis testing is and what are the steps in general that you do to perform your hypothesis test of your scenario.Write out an alternative hypothesis and state why you would be interested in your selected test. Also, state what errors you might make in terms of your scenario. In other words, what would a Type I and a Type II errorbe in your hypothesis test.
