A) Automation will change retail jobs i the sense of that the need for cashiers and those types of jobs will become virtually non exictent but the computer programming jobs needed to make those automated jobs will skyrocket. The biggest advantage from the retailers perspective is that automation does not require pay so in the long run is cheaper wage wise however the disadvantage comes from all of the computer problems that are bound to happen that not only take forever to solve but the manager probably doesn't know anything about.  The advantage from the employees perspective is that in certain cases it can make you job easier like loading and unloading new shipments coming in but the disadvantage to it is that in some cases the automation is taking your job outright making there no need for you anymore.

B) Automation is expected to significantly impact retail jobs, with lower skilled roles such as cashiers and warehouse employees facing a 97% probability of being replaced by automation. However, the displaced workers may be able to find work in other areas, as overall employment rates in the United States are currently at high levels. Furthermore, the boost in productivity from automation may drive these workers into more highly skilled positions that cannot be automated, resulting in better pay and a more robust economy. However, these changes may lead to a significant shift in the types of skills required for retail jobs, with roles that rely heavily on social skills being less at risk of automation. Retail automation can bring benefits such as increased productivity, cost savings, and improved customer experience for retailers. For retail employees, automation may lead to the loss of jobs and the need for retraining. Furthermore, jobs that are replaced by automation may have lower wages and fewer benefits than the jobs they are replaced with, leading to concerns about inequality. Retailers that implement automation also face challenges such as higher upfront costs, maintenance expenses, and the need for technical expertise. Additionally, automation can lead to decreased opportunities for human interaction in retail, which can negatively impact the customer experience
