Give your opinion/response to the below- Lukis Anderson arrested December 2012, for murder of Raveesh Kumra but actually it was more of framed by his own DNA. His DNA was found under the finger nail of Kumra. Anderson was a 26-year old homeless alcoholic with a long rap sheet who spent his day hustling for change in downtown San Jose. Kumra was a 66 year old investor who lived in Monte Sereno. On November 29, 2012 a group of men broke into Kumra mansion ,tied up, blindfold, and gagged Kumra. It was false conviction of Anderson because of forensic evidence.
Brandon Mayfield who was wrongfully detained in connection with the 2004 Madrid train bombing basis of faulty fingerprint match. On May 6, 2004 FBI arrested Mayfield as material witness in connection with the Madrid attacks.
Robert McClendon conviction in 8/27/1991 for eyewitness misidentication, unvalided or improper forensic science, exonerated by DNA. McClendon has been wrongfully convicted in the 1990 rape and kidnapping of a 10 year old girl. He steadfaslty maintained his innocence denied him the right to a DNA test.
The issues with the evidence was mistaken witness ID, false/ misleading forensic evidence.
I believe in order to convict someone is there must be forensic evidence including location, last seem with, time, and camera footage.
The issues with fingerprint DNA and touch is that it's not always accurate. DNA can be spread anywhere and everywhere.
