Give your project a descriptive title that is indicative of your planned goals for the project. 

Project Description: In two to three paragraphs in your words, explain the situation and the report that you (or your team) that your team will provide. 

Source for the Data : Explain the source of the data that will serve as the basis of your data analysis. The data may originate from other applications and be imported into Excel. In other words, your data doesn't have to start as a worksheet. In this course, you will learn how to import data and save as an Excel Worksheet. Depending on the type of analysis ,  your data may be a large dataset. This part is subject to alteration as you work through the analysis task. 

Type of Analysis: Explain the type of data analysis that you will be performing . Explain the decision that your team wants to arrive at. Describe the type of charts that you will create. Again, this is subject to change as you learn about Excel and go through the exercises planned for the course . See the section titled Features of Excel to Be Utilized in Your Analysis (near the end of this document ) for a list of features that we will work with in this course . By the time your team submits the project proposal, you will have been introduced to the majority of these features . 

Remember , the type of analysis you choose to perform is the most important part of the course project. Use as many of the Excel data analysis features as you can to show the depth of your understanding of the concepts covered in this course and the thoroughness of your analysis. Status to date: Provide a short summary of work completed to date . Also, set forth any challenges, questions, Excel technique breakthroughs and other items of significance that should be reported to your Instructor .
