Biography: Bonnie Weingardner graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biological and Environmental Science from Harvard University in 1982. She joined the Peace Corps and was stationed in Venezuela for 3 years where she helped children learn how to swim. After returning she got her Ph.D. in Environmental Science at University of California at Santa Barbara, and joined the Bodega Bay Research facility where she studied the effects of chlorine on sea urchins. For the last 10 years she has worked as a consultant for private firms wanting to improve their status in the environmental community and win contracts with state funded firms.
